Christ Is Our Sufficiency (1 Corinthians 1:30)

But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

1 Corinthians 1:30 (KJV)

Jesus has become our wisdom, our righteousness, our sanctification, and our redemption. And so let us remember to not look to ourselves, but to Jesus. Being in Christ means that He has become our sufficiency unto whatever need may arise. As we meditate daily on this truth, accepting it in our hearts by faith, we will see the fruits of it showing up in our lives.

The Love Of God Brings Hope (Romans 5:5)

And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

Romans 5:5 (ESV)

When we receive the love of God into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, hope begins to envelop us. We may walk with a calm reassurance, a quiet confidence that we will see the goodness of God in our lives. Today, let the Holy Spirit speak to you of God’s love. Let this love fill you and saturate you, and be assured that your hope will not put you to shame.

Led Of The Holy Spirit (Psalm 143:10)

Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

Psalm 143:10 (KJV)

God’s spirit in us teaches us to do His will. He helps us to have a revelation of the love, the grace, and the goodness of God, which in turn empowers us to live victorious and godly lives. It is powerful to be led of the Holy Spirit into the land of uprightness.

From Glory To Glory (2 Corinthians 5:18)

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

2 Corinthians 5:18 (NKJV)

The more we behold Jesus, the more are we transformed into His image and likeness. As we seek His will in all of the areas of our life, we will find ourselves being led from glory to glory through the wisdom and counsel of the Holy Spirit.

No Condemnation (Romans 8:1)

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Romans 8:1 (KJV)

There is no condemnation when we understand who we are in Christ, when we no longer walk according to who we have been in the flesh, but according to who He has made us to be in Him. Condemnation must flee as we receive the immeasurable gift of God’s love for us in and through the finished works of Jesus.

A Wellspring Of Life (Isaiah 58:11)

And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.

Isaiah 58:11 (KJV)

There is a continual wellspring of life available to us as we keep our eyes on the Lord, realizing that He alone is our strength, our source, our comforter, and our provider. When we daily fellowship with God in the Spirit, and let His Word fill our hearts, we will find ourselves equipped and well able to not only handle all that we are called to do, but we will also be a spring of life through which the light of Christ can flow into our world.

No Longer Our Own (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

What? know yet not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own. For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (KJV)

The very moment we gave our lives to Jesus, the Holy Spirit took up residence within us. Ever since we have no longer been our own, and so we are being called to live not unto ourselves, but unto God. May we resolve to bring Him glory through the actions of our body which is His temple, and may we rejoice in our spirit communing with His Spirit. And let us live every day knowing that we belong to the Lord, that we have been bought with a price, thereby opening ourselves to the life of victory and service to the kingdom that God has called us to live.

Teach Me To Do Your Will (Psalm 143:12)

Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

Psalm 143:12 (KJV)

This powerful verse reminds us that the only way we are able to walk in the will of God is by His grace. We must continuously look to the Lord so He may teach us to do His will. As we meditate on this, we are creating the space within us for the Holy Spirit to bear witness with our spirit, thereby leading us into the land of uprightness. And we enter into this land not by our own actions or efforts, but much rather through placing all our faith, trust and reliance upon the finished works of Jesus. The more we look to Jesus, realizing we are already upright in Him, the more will He teach us, day by day and moment by moment, to reflect who we are in Him into our world.
