Filled With His Joy (John 15:11)

These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

John 15:11 (KJV)

As we put our trust in Jesus, let us remember that His desire for us is that we are filled with His joy. There should be great joy in our walk with the Lord, for no matter what we face in the area of circumstances and conditions, we are joined to Him who has overcome the world. And as we abide in Him, we get to partake in that overcoming!

That Your Joy Might Be Full (John 15:11)

These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

John 15:11 (KJV)

As we put our trust in Jesus, let us remember that His desire for us is that we are filled with His joy. There should be great joy in our walk with the Lord, for no matter what we face in the area of circumstances and conditions, we are joined to Him who has overcome the world. And as we abide in Him, we get to partake in that overcoming! So today, let us give thanks that there is a joy ever available to us that is not of this world. As we open ourselves to this joy through abiding in His Word and letting His Word abide in us, we will soon discover that, as Scripture says in another place, the joy of the Lord is our strength.

The Spirit Of God In Us (Romans 8:15)

For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

Romans 8:15 (KJV)

The moment we got born again, God’s Spirit has come to live on the inside of us. It is the Spirit of God in our spirit that draws us unto God, that enables us to fellowship with Him. And so when we approach God, let us approach Him as He truly is: our loving heavenly Father whose good pleasure it is to give us the kingdom. Let us remove any fear, guilt or feelings of condemnation; and let us not doubt but for one second that it is God’s will for us to be whole in every area of our lives.
