I hope you will join me for a great time in the Word as we continue in this series of living in the finished works of Jesus. Today I will be getting into learning to rest in the promises of God, which enables us to have peace of mind and heart no matter the circumstances and conditions. When we are at peace through completely trusting, depending and relying on Jesus, we are in a place of being receptive and available for God to work mighty miracles in and through our lives.

for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,
Philippians 2:13-15 (NKJV)
God enables us to will and to do of His good pleasure. When we eliminate complaining and disputing and simply follow in faith what God is calling us to do, we become radiant vessels through which His light may shine brightly in this world.
And to know the love of Christ which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
Ephesians 3:19 (KJV)
Being filled with all the fullness of God is to know His love in and through Christ Jesus. This surpasses intellectual knowledge and must be known in the heart. When it sinks into our hearts just how much He loves us, our lives cannot help but overflow with His goodness.
For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
Romans 5:17 (KJV)
In Christ we are called to reign in life. This means we are to be victorious in every arena of life as a result of the victory Jesus has already won for us. We are empowered to prosper as we receive God’s gift of righteousness in Christ Jesus, which then results in an abundance of grace—God’s unmerited, unearned and undeserved favor—shining boundless upon our lives.
Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
Jeremiah 33:3 (KJV)
When we are willing to walk in faith and trust in the goodness of God, we may rest assured that He will lead us into the life He has purposed for us to live. Here we will find opportunities to use our gifts and talents in a way that will serve the kingdom of God, and be a blessing to the people in our world.
By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Romans 5:2 (KJV)
Grace is the revelation that God has made available anything we will ever need through the finished works of Jesus. Faith is how we access what grace has provided. And so let us embrace by faith that our needs are met, and that the solution to every challenge has been provided. When we believe this and live out from it, we will see the evidence of it manifest in our life.
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:57 (NKJV)
You have been set up for victory in every area of life. By His grace God has already provided absolutely everything we may ever need, and our task is to receive it and to walk in it by faith. And so let this be the year in which you are fully receptive and available to God’s unmerited favor, and be willing to walk in the fullness of all that Jesus has made available to you.
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
Ephesians 3:20 (KJV)
God wants to exceed our expectations in every area of life. The key for seeing His exceeding and abundant blessings is His power that works in us. His power working in us is in direct proportion to our faith, and so as we purpose in our hearts to believe the Word, we are becoming receptive and available for God’s goodness and favor to manifest in and through our lives.
